How to Present Concept Work Without Misleading Clients

Concept projects are valuable when the label is honest and the thinking is as serious as real client work.

A concept project can demonstrate taste, process and technical ability before a portfolio contains enough paid work.

The ethical line is simple: label the work clearly. Do not invent business results, fake testimonials or imply that a fictional brand hired you.

Professional concept work should still solve a believable problem, document decisions and show production-ready deliverables. Honesty makes the portfolio stronger, not weaker.
